My Experiences with Twitter

As one of the few 2000's kids who have not yet opened a Twitter account, this was a new territory for me. Setting up a Twitter account aged me, as I honestly had no idea what I was doing. I still am learning and navigating the platform.
I followed many of my classmates on Twitter, and I followed many accounts dealing with canine research. I figured that I would start narrowing my research to canines (in comparison to aves) because I find them to be more interesting. In particular, I find the Twitter account @tammietheking to have good links to articles on animal (usually dog) behavior.
I myself tweeted about canines. I tweeted a link to an article about the domestication of foxes, which is to provide some insight on the strategy behind animals choosing to become household pets. I also tweeted about canine cognition and problem-solving skills, which they have advanced. Lastly, I tweeted an article suggesting that dogs can understand humans more than domesticated wild animals (wolves).
@tiffanynguyen provided interesting articles about penguins, and I liked her post about penguin's "cocktail effect". That article taught me about penguins' incredible sense of hearing and memory.
Overall, I have had a good start to my research journey.

Hey! This was also my first experience using twitter so it took some time getting used to. But so far it has been a pleasant experience learning about my fellow peers!
